After settling into your
hotel on Friday, take some time to explore the
neighborhood and grab a bite to eat before heading
over to Fort Mason Center for the evening presentation
of Marriage Prep 101. The class will be over
at 10:00 PM when you can retire to your hotel.
On Saturday morning
head back to Fort Mason Center for a 9:00 AM
class start. We will provide a continental breakfast.
We will also serve a delicious catered lunch
at noon followed by a short break. After lunch,
many couples like to stroll along the piers
or drop in to any of the events going on at
Fort Mason. Then come back at 1:00 PM for the
afternoon session of the workshop.
After
the workshop is over at 5:00 PM, you will have
the evening to further explore the City. Great
restaurants, theater, cultural events and beauty
await you.
Dinner on Saturday
night at any of the amazing restaurants
of San Francisco will be an unforgetable experience.
if you prefer to stay nearby, try the nationally-known
vegetarian restaurant Greens which is located
only steps from our meeting room. Greens serves
the best vegetarian food you can imagine and
offers a stunning view of the sun setting over
the Golden Gate Bridge. We strongly recommend
you make reservations in advance for Greens
or any other popular San Francisco restaurants.
Sunday
is your day to further explore San Francisco
and the greater Bay Area depending on your schedule.
If you choose to stay, you might take a boat
ride around the Bay or hang on while taking
a trolley up and down the City's famed hills.
Visit any of our world class museums or rent
a bike and ride through Golden Gate Park (closed
to cars on Sunday!) or head up the Marin Headland.
Visit North Beach and retrace the steps of Allen
Ginsberg and the Beat Poets or head downtown
for some shopping. Ask your Innkeeper or hotel
concierge to suggest other local attractions
to visit.
